Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct is a commitment to principles that guide how we treat ourselves, each other, and our community. It isn’t just rules—it’s a shared agreement to rise above cycles of violence, poverty, and division by choosing accountability, respect, and unity.

A Code of Conduct reminds us that liberation starts with discipline, self-respect, and collective responsibility. When we live by it, we set the standard for our future and protect the integrity of our people.

Recreating the Narrative

Recreating the Narrative is about reclaiming control over the stories told about us. To recreate the narrative means shifting from victimhood to victory, from survival to thriving, and from reaction to creation. It’s about highlighting excellence, resilience, and unity—while being honest about challenges and actively shaping solutions. When we own our story, we own our future.

Unity Over Division

We reject tribalism, colorism, classism, and petty beefs that divide us. We rise as one people, across neighborhoods, religions, and nations of the diaspora.

Commit to Life, Not Violence

We resolve disputes through dialogue, mediation, and community councils—not weapons. We protect our people, not harm them. Every act of violence against one another weakens us and strengthens those who profit from our pain.

Respect and Protect Black Women and Children

We vow to end abuse, exploitation, and neglect within our families and community. Protecting our women and raising our children with dignity is the foundation of our future.

Education as Liberation

We pursue knowledge not just to get jobs, but to liberate minds. Education must teach history, self-respect, critical thinking, and the skills to build power in this century.

Community Control and Accountability

We govern our neighborhoods. We build community patrols, watch programs, and councils to resolve disputes, prevent crime, and keep outsiders from exploiting our people.

Economic Self-Reliance

We circulate our dollars within the community. We build Black-owned businesses, support co-ops, and teach financial literacy so poverty cannot continue to be a weapon against us.

Health and Wellness First

We prioritize mental health, fitness, and proper nutrition. No community can thrive if addiction, preventable illness, and untreated trauma remain unchallenged.

Cultural Pride and Creation

We celebrate and preserve Black art, language, history, and traditions. Culture is power—when we control our narrative, we control our future.

Demand Justice and Equality

We reject tribalism, colorism, classism, and petty beefs that divide us. We rise as one people, across neighborhoods, religions, and nations of the diaspora.
